Tim Bull MP

Member for Gippsland East, Tim Bull, won the seat of Gippsland East in the Legislative Assembly in November 2010. Tim served as the Minister for Local Government and the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs in the Napthine-Ryan State Government. Tim is currently the Shadow Minister for Carers and Disability, Fishing and Boating, Veterans' Affairs and Racing.

Melina Bath

Melina Bath

Former South Gippsland secondary school teacher Melina Bath is the Member for Eastern Victoria Region in the State's Upper House. In the Legislative Council, Melina Bath serves as the Member for Eastern Victoria. Melina was elected to the position of Member for Eastern Victoria on 16 April following Danny O'Brien's move to the Legislative Assembly. Melina is a former owner of a health food business and secondary college teacher. Melina is currently the Shadow Assistant Minister for Public Land Use.

Also serving you in the Legislative Assembly is the Member for Gippsland South, Danny O’Brien. Danny was elected Member for Gippsland South at the by-election held on Saturday 14 March 2015 following the resignation of long term parliamentarian, Peter Ryan. Danny resigned as Member of the Legislative Council for Eastern Victoria after being elected to the position on the 26 March 2014 following Peter Hall's retirement. Danny is currently the Shadow Assistant Minister for Regional Health and Ambulance Services.

Darren Chester

Darren Chester

Representing Gippsland in Federal Parliament is Darren Chester. Darren was elected to Federal Parliament on June 26, 2008, in a by-election following the retirement of the Hon Peter McGauran. He was re-elected in 2010 and appointed Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Roads and Regional Transport in September 2010. He was re-elected in 2013 and appointed the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence. Darren also served as Minister for Infrastructure and Transport and is now Minister for Defence Personnel, Minister for Veterans' Affairs and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Centenary of ANZAC. Darren was re-elected in 2019 and is Minister for Veterans and Defence Personnel.
